Nick Kirtley
Nick is a cybersecurity consultant and founding partner at Aristiun with >12.5 years of security experience. Nick has worked for many companies in various security roles and started his career at a Big 4 firm. His most recent role was as a director of the security and privacy department in a global firm. Sample Key Engagements / Accomplishments: - Setup an enterprise-wide security and privacy program, including development/setup of reporting lines, creation of a companywide control framework, setup and participation in periodic calls with C-level management and related work. - Creation and roll out of a threat modelling capability various clients, including creation of training material, providing training to IT/DevOps teams, defining methodology and setup of tooling. - Performed 100+ security reviews/audits/quick scans at many clients (from financial, government to oil and gas). - Performed security related migration work to the cloud – from defining security requirements, to implementing them and checking (working) results. - Developed and executed on various security programs/roadmaps – from initial setup to fine tuning existing mature programs. - Reported and discussed wide ranging security topics with board members, all the way through to deeply technical engineers.. - Completed training/education, including MSc in computer science, postgraduate in IT auditing, many security and privacy certifications (including CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CIPM).
